Facilities Asset Management (FAM) involves providing optimal management of the University's physical assets to maximize value. Systems such as Maximo and EZRequest support this element of OPP's mission.
EZRequest User Authentication Issue
The OPP Maximo/EAM team began receiving reports of users receiving the following user authentication error on January 30, 2024. It is presumed that the EZRequest User Authentication error is caused by a failure of the authentication request through the PSU single sign-on, even when system credentials are active.
We have been working with IT to address the login errors after an adjustment made to the PSU single sign-on configuration last week impacted our site. The issue is being caused by browser caching of login info.
We recommend that you try submitting via Chrome web browser. In most instances, clearing browser cookies has resolved the issue. However, if you still run into the issue, as a last resort, please open the link for EZRequest https://ezrequest.opp.psu.edu/ezrequest in incognito mode.
Please note: we do not recommend working in incognito mode to do your normal work, we are only suggesting this as a temporary workaround.
