Access and Security

  • Serve as primary “Master Access Coordinator” and point of contact for all access-related issues within OPP-controlled spaces, including building lock/unlock schedules, access management strategies, and strategic access decision-making to meet operational needs and university policy requirements.
  • Support all components of electronic access, lock systems, electronic security, perimeter protection, and video surveillance to all interior and exterior doors across University Park.
  • Manage the key box system with over 50 satellite key boxes located at University Park Campus.  
  • Serve as the primary point of contact within OPP to represent access needs and coordinate access to spaces controlled by other work units. 
  • Primary administrator for key access database that includes ordering, receiving, and tracking all keys.
  • Represent the department on security related committees.
  • Develop and manage OPP training and/or outreach activities to ensure that all OPP personnel are aware of and compliant with access management requirements and policies.
  • Perform yearly and periodic audits of key inventories, temporary access cards, and CCure clearances.
