WB-Bell Science Building Chiller Replacement Phase 2
The project will complete the HVAC upgrades to the Bell Building at Penn State Wilkes-Barre. Scope of work includes receiving, storing, rigging, and installing air handling units (pre-purchased by Owner), providing return fans, exhaust fans, and associated mechanical, electrical, structural, and site scope. The electrical generator and ATS’ will be pre-purchased by the Owner. The contractor shall receive, store, rig, and install. The BAS will be by a third-party vendor, but coordination with the installer will be required.
Contractors bidding directly to Penn State for this contract [Prime Contractors] are required to be prequalified in the following prequalification trade category: General Construction
Bidding Documents
Bids will be received electronically only through the e-Builder Bid Portal. Bids in any other format will not be accepted.
To access the Bid Documents, the potential bidder must have or create an Account in the e-Builder Bid Portal. The User Name for your Account is usually your email address. The Bid Package(s) are listed in the table below. Each Bid Package has a project-specific link. This link takes you to the e-Builder Bid Portal. From there, the potential bidder completes the prompts and can access bid documents and submit a bid.
Bid Document access is intended for use by the bidder, their company, and entities involved in formulating the bid response. Distribution of information or documents to plan rooms or websites for the sole purpose of advertising this project is prohibited. Bid Document access will not generate a Bidders List. Subcontractors and Suppliers should contact the project’s A/E regarding this.
