UP-Nursing Science Building Renovation
Current
The project consists of new construction and renovation of existing spaces at the Nursing Science Building. The Building, originally constructed in 1979, has remained largely the same for the past 40 years with some minor renovations. Today, it serves as the centerpiece of the Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing (CoN). The existing 71,000 gross square foot, three-story building with a full basement and mechanical penthouse offers the College offices and classroom spaces. The primary goals for this project's success include reducing the major maintenance backlog, renewing the building envelope (brick and window), and providing major programmatic upgrades for the CoN, including a large classroom addition on the HUB side of the building.
