EZRequest
I attempt to log in and get an error message.
If you do not have permissions to access EZRequest, you will receive an error. If you are not an OPP employee requiring access to EZRequest, please contact your Facility Coordinator to start the process for acquiring EZRequest permissions.
If you have recently changed your PSU Password, make sure the web browser isn't caching your old password.
I am a new EZRequest user. Is there any training available?
Yes, there is an EZRequest Self Help/Resource Guide available on the LRN.
Maximo Questions or Issues
Why can't I view or edit the Work Order long description and work log summary sections?
The reason you are unable to view or edit the long description and work log summary fields is due to an unsupported version of internet browser for Maximo.
I have import/export permissions, and a large group of records is not working as I think it should and I receive an error?
The reason this error occurs is that you need a "specific" web address when importing a large number of files. Please contact the Enterprise Asset Management Team to determine which url address to use.
Why am I unable to update a Work Order (WO) with the Work Type of Job when I know I have the access to do so?
Please ensure that you are in the Jobs application and not Work Order Tracking when attempting to modify details on Jobs.
EZRequest and Maximo
Will I be informed of my Work Order status changes?
Maximo will send you an email immediately after the WO Status has been updated. This is done so that you can remain updated regarding the status of your WO. You will receive an email each time your WO changes status. Below is the list of some of the WO statuses available in Maximo that will generate an email notification.
- WPLAN- The Work Order has been received by the Work Reception Center and has been sent to planning
- WSCH - The Planning stage has been completed and the WO is now being scheduled
- BACKLOG - During the Planning phase the WO was identified to be scheduled and performed at a later time.
- APPR - Scheduling assigns a work group and approves the WO
- COMP - The work has been completed.
- WCLOSE - Work is complete but the billing process is still occurring.
Search Wildcards Characters
Below is a list of the available 'search' wildcards to use when trying to find certain data within the applications.
* or % - Substitutes for a string of characters
- 123* or 123% will find records that start with 123, such as 123, 12345, and 123ABC
- *123 or %123 will find records that end in 123, such as 123, 5123, and PUMP123
- *123* or %123% will find records that contain 123, such as 123, 1234, PMUMP123, or XX112300Valve
? or _ - Substitutes for a single character
- 123? or 123_ find any four-character records that start with 123, such as 1234, 1230, 123g
- _18 or ?18 find any three-character records that end with 18, such as 418 or J18
= - Equals exact match; find records that are an exact match to your query.
- filtering records with a status of "APPR" also returns records that have a status of "WAPPR" unless you type "=APPR" in the status field.
> - Greater Than; find records with work orders after specified date.
- to find WO after April 21, 2014, ">4/21/14"
< - Less Than; find records with work orders before specified date.
- to find WO before April 21, 2014, "<4/21/14"
>= - Greater than or Equal To; find records with work orders after and on specified date.
- to find WO on and after April 21, 2014, ">=4/21/14"
<= - Less than or Equal To; find records with work orders before and on specified date.
- to find WO on and before April 21, 2014, "<=4/21/14"
!= - Not Equal To; indicates all records except one.
- "!=COMP", this will pull up all levels of status not complete
