PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Alexander Building Construction Co. requests proposals for the UP-FY 18-23 Capital Systems Renewal Program - Roof Construction 2E on behalf of Pennsylvania State University. The scope of work consists of roof replacement upgrades, MEP modifications, and a new fall protection system serving the Leonhard Building and Engineering Services on PSU's University Park Campus — anticipated construction starting in Summer 2024.

PRE-BID NOTES

Please meet first in the back loading dock of Engineering Services, facing Research Building West's parking lot. Once complete, we will travel to the Leonhard Building. Physical handouts that include additional pertinent information will be distributed to all attendees.

PREQUALIFICATION

All Trade Contractors interested in the upcoming Capital System Renewal Program Projects must be PSU prequalified before the bidding due date. Contact Tina Petrie (tina.petrie@butz.com) at Alexander Building Construction Co, referencing the PSU Capital Systems Renewal Program, to obtain prequalification documents. Prequalification documents shall be submitted directly to Tina Petrie (tina.petrie@butz.com) at Alexander Building Construction Co. All prequalification documents need to be completed and returned by January 11, 2024. Any prequalifications sent after January 11, 2024, will not be accepted. Any proposals from bidders who are not prequalified at the time of bid will not be accepted.

The project will be bid through Pipeline Suite.

As a project delegated to Penn State by the Pennsylvania Department of General Services (DGS), this bid opening is public via Zoom Webinar. Registration is required. Organizers will Admit registrants to the bid opening at 3:00 p.m.
