PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Alexander Building Construction Co. requests proposals for the UP-FY 18-23 Capital Systems Renewal Program - Roof Construction 2D on behalf of Pennsylvania State University. The scope of work consists of roof replacement upgrades, masonry facade restoration, MEP modifications, and a new fall protection system serving the Reber Building on PSU's University Park Campus — construction starting in Summer 2024.

PRE-BID NOTES

Meet in Reber’s parking lot behind Hammond Building and between the Engineering Units. Physical handouts that include additional pertinent information will be distributed to all attendees.

PREQUALIFICATION

All Trade Contractors interested in the upcoming Capital System Renewal Program Projects must be PSU prequalified before the bidding due date. Contact Tina Petrie (tina.petrie@butz.com) at Alexander Building Construction Co, referencing the PSU Capital Systems Renewal Program, to obtain prequalification documents. Prequalification documents shall be submitted directly to Tina Petrie (tina.petrie@butz.com) at Alexander Building Construction Co. All prequalification documents need to be completed and returned by December 5, 2023. Any pre-qualifications sent after December 5, 2023, will not be accepted. Any proposals from bidders who are not prequalified at the time of bid will not be accepted.

The project will be bid through Pipeline Suite.

As a project delegated to Penn State by the Pennsylvania Department of General Services (DGS), this bid opening is public via Zoom Webinar. Registration is required. Organizers will Admit registrants to the bid opening at 3:00 p.m.
