PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Alexander Building Construction Co. is requesting proposals for the UP-FY 18-23 Capital Systems Renewal Program - Elevator Construction 2A on behalf of The Pennsylvania State University. The scope of work consists of elevator modernizations and associated upgrades to elevators serving the Eisenhower Parking Deck and Thomas Building on PSU's University Park Campus. The anticipated bid due date is February 2, 2023, and the estimated Construction start is Spring 2024.

PREQUALIFICATION

All Trade Contractors interested in the upcoming Capital System Renewal Program Projects must be PSU prequalified before the bidding due date. To obtain prequalification documents (see attachments below), contact Tina Petrie (tina.petrie@butz.com) at Alexander Building Construction Co, referencing the PSU Capital Systems Renewal Program. Prequalification documents shall be submitted directly to Tina Petrie (tina.petrie@butz.com) at Alexander Building Construction Co. All prequalification documents need to be completed/returned by December 9, 2022. Any prequalifications sent after December 9, 2022, will not be accepted. Any proposals from bidders who are not prequalified at the bid time will not be accepted.

The project will be bid through SmartBid.

As a project delegated to Penn State by the Pennsylvania Department of General Services (DGS), this bid opening is public via Zoom Webinar. Registration is required. Organizers will Admit registrants to the bid opening at 3:00 p.m.
